Re: [mylifeismine] Re: Which One is a Good/Bad Day?

Hi Dean,

Truly appreciate your reply - you verbalised the
desperation and/or helplessness of people in society
who are overwhelmed by life's realities.

It begs the question: If we can't find a solution, why
bother? Kinda like: Why bother seeing a doctor if
we're all going to die anyway?

Yes - the world is FULL of tragedies and calamities:
threats of nuclear war, hurricanes, economic
depression, food shortages, pollution, inflation,
genocide, drug and alcohol abuse, chronic gambling,
child abuse, spousal abuse, etc. etc. etc. Living in
this world is a hopeless case, isn't it? Therefore,
why bother? IT'S ALL OUT OF OUR CONTROL!!!

BUT there is ONE that is in YOUR control: YOUR
thoughts and YOUR response. That is WHY we are in this
group "My Life Is Mine". BEFORE I ponder what
direction our society is going, I first decide where
MY own life is going. "If I don't know where I'm
going, then how will I know I've arrived?"

Only then will I decide whether I go along with
society, or take society along with me. "Either I find
a way, or make one!" (Hannibal)

Dean, when you're sure of where you're going, feel
free to invite others to come with you.

Smile!

Perry
