Re: [mylifeismine] So HOW Will Your Day Be TODAY?

Morning Khadija,

The quote that Perry has put up is for anyone who wishes to consider it - no-one in particular, but everyone who is part of this group and hoping to find better ways of manifesting in their lives. You will find that we frequently post a thought or quote to share with each other - when this happens all members will receive the message, it sends to everyone who is registered to the group.

The purpose is to create a thought process, so that we might reflect on what it means to each of us individually, and perhaps learn something in the process. I find the best way to approach these quotes is to think of them as a little gift, unwrap it and see what it has brought to you.

Have a lovely day,
Gail

[mylifeismine] conflicting emotions

I am recently divorced and as a result had to put most of my things in storage
my wife would prefer I did not go into the house unless I really had to and as I trusred her it was ok that she put everything in boxes.
Of course i did not know what I would find she only ever wrote fragile on some boxes most were unmarked.
I had asked her to marry me, driven hundreds of miles to see her , she did not know I was coming but I had heard she was upset and I just got in the car and went to her.
And I even suprised myself when I arrived, uppon seeing her I knew I wanted her in my life forever
so I got down on my knees and asked her to marry me.
I had taken her out beforehand to have a quiet beer and a nice walk along the sand and she had cheered up considerably.
She was expecting me to stay but I told her that I would have to go back as I had some work commitments, I was really looking for a nicer place for us to live in.
And she was completely bowled over by what I had asked of her.
So it took a long time for her to answer me, I am a patient man and I told her to make sure she gave me her true answer.
I got home one afternoon and pinned up on one wall was a white bedsheet with yes written in big letters
painted on.
My wedding day was the happiest day of my life and everyone who knew her said they had never seen her happy as she was that day also..
So now you all know what this sheet 's significance is.
It dissapeared after that day and I thought she may have thrown it out , I dont really know. it was hers and after the divorce I never thought about it.

I found it today in a box of odds and ends, and here is my question, as i cannot think what to do with it.
how do I make this thing that was so important to me but is now just confusing me, into a good thing?
Do I throw it away, I am not sure I could bear to do that, do I give it back?
How do I make this into something good again? It stirs so many emotions, both good and bad, i could use some ideas.

Smiles
Malcolm
