[mylifeismine] More insipration: From where do great people get inspired?¦

Hi everyone,
Thank you for you lovely contributions, I thoroughly enjoy reading
them, and have summarised a few from another lovely book. 'The
Dolphin, story of a dreamer', written by Sergio Bambaren echoes
Jonathon Livingston Seagull. I have attached some of the essential
messages herewith, hope you enjoy:

May your dreams come true, dreamer; and may they always bring you
happiness, and wisdom.

There comes a time in life, when there is nothing else to do, but to
go your own way.
A time to follow your dreams. A time to raise the sails of your own
beliefs.

Falling into the deepest desperation gives you the chance to find
your true nature.
Just as dreams come alive when you least expect them to,
so will the answer to questions you cannot unfold.
Let your instinct build a trail of wisdom, and let your fears be
diminished by hope.

Most of us are not prepared to overcome our failures, and because of
this we are not able to fulfil our destiny.
It is easy to stand for something that does not carry a risk.

Maybe part of loving is learning to let go, knowing when to say good-
bye.
Not letting our feelings get in the way of what is probably in the
end, better for the ones we care for.

Discovering new worlds will bring you not only happiness and wisdom,
but also sadness and fear. How could you value happiness, without
knowing what sadness is?
How could you achieve wisdom, without facing your own fears?
In the end, the great challenge in life is to overcome the limits
within yourself,
pushing them to places you would never have dreamt they could go.

Perhaps the dreams are made of lots of hard work. Perhaps if we try
to cut corners, we lose track of the reason we started dreaming, and
at the end we find that the dream no longer belongs to us. Perhaps if
we just follow the wisdom from our heart, then time will make sure we
meet out destiny. Remember: When you are just about to give up, when
you feel that life has been too hard on you; Remember who you are.
Remember your dream.

There are some things you cannot see with your eyes.
You have to see them with your heart, and that's the hard part of it.
For instance, if you find the spirit of the youngster inside of you;
with your memories and his dreams you two will walk together, trying
to find a way through this adventure called life.
Always trying to make the best of it.
And your heart will never become tired, or old…

Decisions are a way of defining ourselves.
They are the way to give life and meaning to words, to dreams.
They are the way to let what we are be what we want to be.

Where you are headed there are no trails, no paths, just your own
instinct.
You have followed the omens, and have finally arrived.
And now, you have to take the great leap into the unknown, and find
out for yourself:
Who is wrong. Who is right. Who are you.

Some things will always be stronger than time and distance. Deeper
than languages and ways.
Like following your dreams, and learning to be yourself.
Sharing with others, the magic you have found.

about is where it tells you " do your duty without expecting rewards

everyone is always doing something to get something. This gives rise
to a lot of disappointment often. We would all save precious amounts
of time and would not procrastinate if we went about our lives daily
doing what we were supposed to do without constantly thinking ot the
benefits and the fruits. We would be calmer and happier and less
frustrated. I will lose weight only to attract someone, I will work
only so I will get promoted and make the boss notice me, I will be
good to my wife so she wont nag me, I will reward my kids so they
will stay out of my hair, I'be nice to my friends because I never
know when I'll need them....the list just goes on. It should be I
will lose weight just to feel good about my self and because I
respect my body, I will

contributing to society, I will care for my wife because she is my
partner and equal, my kids are my creation and joy so I will love

really have the courage to live like this?

righteousness are also of high priority. If we continue and patiently

truth of its closing chapter we can see that the ultimate conclusion
is to relinquish all the conceptualized ideas of religion which we
possess and fully surrender directly unto the Supreme Lord.

Re: [mylifeismine] Stress Management in Women: Soothing Reply to Fatigue

Well said.. Women are indeed asked to do more by society than what is otherwise expected of their male counter parts. The imperative to put womens health to the for-thought is a must...

In today's society where women are more evenly found going beyond the male folk, they are clearly noted as the more responsible folks too. They are mothers, daughters, wives and above all the career women. You will find a woman after the whole day's office struggles, coming back to home and start making the dinner, then her task ends attending the household chores, only to get up in the morning and start another exhausting vicious cycle of balancing work and home. In fact, she hardly gets the time for herself. So, stress is obvious. Stress management in women is becoming a very important but often ignored task in today's society.
