Responses were well reflected upon and very enriching to everyone. I
congratulate you all. This type of discourse is what this group is
all about: Awaken The Giant Within serves to AWAKEN each of us into
consciousness and action. Fate and Luck do NOT just happen. Our
individual choices and decisions will decide our quality of life.
Though we cannot individually decide external reality, we do have
control on how we perceive and therefore respond to challenges thrown
our way. The weather may be cold and wet, the work may be long and
hard, the family may be rowdy and misbehaving, etc. etc. etc. It is
YOU who decides HOW to respond to whatever stimuli. It is YOU who, in
effect, will create the "reality" that is RELEVANT to YOU! The world
around you may be at war, poverty and pestilence world wide, economic
recession, gas hikes, food shortage, etc. etc. etc. But it is YOU who
can find that "centre", that "balance" within you, that will find you
that all important peace and contentment simply because you are HERE
and NOW and UNIQUE - AS YOU TRAVEL IN THIS ROAD CALLED LIFE.

There is a tale of an elephant surrounded by five blind men. Each one
held a different part of the elephant. One held the tail, one held
the trunk, one held the ear, one held the foot, and one held the
tusk. Now each of them was asked to DESCRIBE the elephant.
Now tell me: What is the REAL elephant?
Another tale: A tree in a forest came crashing down. However there
was NO ONE to hear the crash.
