Re: [mylifeismine] What is REALITY?

Hello everyone,

Regarding REALITY, it is 2 types, one Natural and universal like a Sun (created by Creator) while second is artificial and developed by humanity. Former is constant every where in each era while later vary depending upon so many parameters.

In regard to money, itself is neither bad or good, it depends upon the owner, how he/she uses it, i.e. spend either on positive (to help others) or negative (destructive) way.

One point some one mentioned about decision, is it in relation to how to process our dream into reality or on each minor or major step of the life?

Anyway, may I tell you how to process your dream into reality?

Summary:

1. To plan your dream and write it down

2. To think about its cost

3. To think about strategy to achieve it

4. To think about level of activation energy (inhibiting factors/barriers)

5. How to overcome these barriers

6. Cycle of its remembrance as well as date of initiation and destination

7. Analysis of your progress

8. Revision if need

First of all, design your dream in a nice civilized fashion; develop it in detail with decoration of imaginary diamonds. Express it on the piece of safe paper with your own valuable pen, beautiful hands and unique eyes. Once again analyze its final product in the light of your novel intellectuality. Look carefully on its cost, strategy to achieve, overcome resistance barriers (inhibiting factors), how to reduce activation energy for conversion of reactants into product of this dream. To invest your precious efforts capsulated with self discipline. Flavor it with rosy sweetness of glucose and fructose of humorous sincerity and honesty. Homogenize with special juice of confidence until integrate with multicultural society completely.  By this way previous fear, doubts and negative psychy will be separated from the resolution of your mind and personality. Incubate it for backing at optimal conditions of scientific-spirituality until the dream develops and cook properly, so you can touch it firmly. Then please decorate it with global sympathy, truthfulness and generosity. Now cut into generous pieces like a cake pieces. Then share with others if you want to help others.

Regards,

Moje

Hi Dean,
We all live the life we think we should.
We also live according to how we've been taught to perceive the world (our parents teach us this initially).
'Reality' is something that is filtered through our senses first.
'Actuality' isn't - this is what the universe is actually like, but we filter it to fit our reality.
Have a look at books written by Carlos Castaneda. They are an unusual perspective. They might not be an easy read but they are interesting.

"...we journey and suffer through out life, we die clothed and alone. What we do in between time is entertain our intellects and dance around the truth. Money truly is the root of all evil necessity... "

We can also die naked (lol).
If money is evil you had best give all yours away ;-) .
Money can be used to help others. One of the reasons I intend to become financially wealthy is so I can also do this. I love the 'Pay It Forward' concept.
That money is the root of all evil is one of the reasons so many, many people are poor - they believe it too.
Same with 'you need money to make money' - not true. You need the right kind of knowledge to make money and its not taught in school. I'm not talking about working for 60 years to end up with no savings.
What we put our attention on becomes real for us. The subconscious doesn't understand 'not' and 'no', and our subconscious is the engine that takes us through life.
Think about what you DO want, NOT what you DON'T want.
If you want a healthy planet, think of the wonderful and beautiful in and on it - don't think about earthquakes, tidal waves, storms, pollution and other mayhem. I'm not saying ignore the bad. Subtle but important difference. The bad is there, just don't dwell on it.
Our imagination is THE most powerful engine of creation on the planet - consider what's come from it.
Suffering is a matter of opinion, as is wealth and many other things. All is relative.
Even if we don't relate to it (lol).
We are not alone. We are only alone when we close ourselves off from life/love. Everything is connected ;-) .
We are an important part of this planet. All of us. But so is everything else here too.
Love is something we need to be reminded about, something we need to remind ourselves about. And we are the people (ourselves) that we need to love first. From this flows a better life - and then we tend to want to share it with others. How good is that?!
Reality is a personal filter from which we choose how to live life.
If you don't like what you are doing now, or how you are living - change it. YOU have that power.
How do you change it? Make the decision to, then have faith in it, then let NOTHING get between you and your desire. This is where PERSISTENCE is important. Don't give up. You can change your mind (as this is just a change in direction) but keep going!
TTFN
Sue.

I don't agree that we create our own reality. I think reality is something forced on to us by a predetermined history, economy etc. You asked us to imagine a beating heart. Now imagine, you were born with nothing of the comforts of what you have now. Even food, truly can that being create a different reality?
I think not. There are many people who suffer because of philosophical elitism. For example the Africa problem. It is their problem after all. Not a global problem. It's an African political problem is it not?

For each of us to create our own "world" and how we perceived it, i think would be to identify a delusion of something not real. I do agree that it is to the individual to create their own state of mind an attitude. However, family, culture and environmental factors in how that individual responses are a tautology, a monkey see monkey do scenario. Each one of us beings is not an "Island" we rely on each other in some form of recognition and approval. Therefore creating ones own reality is a cooperative method.

But this leaves me saying, we are born naked and from our mothers we come, we journey and suffer through out life, we die clothed and alone. What we do in between time is entertain our intellects and dance around the truth. Money truly is the root of all evil necessity i think. If you don't agree you can post it all to me, i'm sure you wont mind.

Re: [mylifeismine] What is REALITY?

Hi Perry,

Ever heard of Byron Katie and her work, called 'The Work'?

She talks about our subjective perceptions of reality as 'our story'. Everyone has their own version of what it is...hence our miscommunications. Especially in an ego-centric world, where persons assume their truth/reality to be the One and Only truth/reality.

Byron Katie poses a great question: she asks "who would you be without your story?', which is basically the same as the topic you have posed. It is a very confronting question, because it requires that we drop our 'melodrama' and expose the bare essentials of reality/truth/facts.

Once we detach the emotion from the event, we are able to realise how we are controlled by emotions, and how we are prone to misinterpretations, and ultimately, how we can become more 'enlightened' or aware that to 'assume' is to make an ASS out of U and ME.

Best wishes, Gail

REALITY is how YOU "define" it. Hard to believe? Imagine being born
without your FIVE (5) senses; that is, you have no sight, no smell,
no hearing, no touch and no kinesthesis. All you have is a beating
heart, breathing lungs, and a conscious brain. Now HOW would YOU define
"reality"? Isn't this a reality that is UNIQUE to you, and only YOU?

Conclusion: We each create our own "reality". Our individual
mental, emotional and physical "states" determine how we piece together
and create a "world" that, in return, we "perceive". How each of us
view this life, experience it and live it is, essentially, our
own "creation".
