Re: [mylifeismine] RE: Lost

hi everyone,

Am not sure if moving out is the best choice. Look at me for example. I used to live in Australia for the past 15 years, illegally. Therefore i wasn't able to leave the country otherwise i could not go back. Anyway, I had to leave. Two weeks ago i had an operation, two kidney stones taken out. I could not do that in Australia because it will be very expensive for me. Now i am here in Brazil, back to mom´s house. I appreciate the help of my family, specially when i was hospitalised. But after 15 years away, to come back is horrible. Don´t have many friends, haven´t got a job yet and no money. All my stuff that i put in boxes to send to Brazil caught on fire. I left at my mates place (warehouse) for him to send it for me as he had an import/export bussines. Well, his entire warehouse caught on fire with all my belongs. I lost everything i had for the past 15 years. Now am here and don´t know what to do. Wish i could go back to Australia but i can´t now.
See folks, everyone has something to go through, i do know we´ve got to be patient but it´s hard. Am 48 years old and got to start all over again. Not sure where to start though.
Thanks for listening/reading.
igor

Sometimes it's best to go somewhere and start afresh. It's like moving house. You find a new atmosphere. Make new friends and gain new interests. Before moving research the area well. Make sure that it fits your life style.Find your passion. Find a hobby you love and devote as much time to it as possible. This way you will meet others with simliar interests. It's a great way to take your mind off things. Depression is such an evil possesive force. Once the "black dog" takes hold it is very difficult to shake. I still suffer from major depression after a lady broke up with me alomost 5 years ago. Medication doesn't work. Nothing seems to work. I am moving to a new location soon. I am hoping that this move will free up my mind a little.
