Hi Jo,
With Sue's suggestion, I would like to add the following if I might:
Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), may be a tool to assist, as fear manifests itself in many forms, and we have given each a name - sometimes this causes us to think they are all seperate, and this is true to the way in which it manifests, but fear is none-the-less fear!
I struggled with fear of heights - to the extent where I spent 6 months working in beautiful Paris, but never went up the Eiffel Tower! You can imagine how I have regretted not making the most of that opportunity at that time!
Fear holds us back from living & experiencing - perhaps you can journal, write down your thoughts, feelings and experiences, and you may find what you are truly dealing with. Self-reflective learning is a very powerful transformative tool.
All the best.
Gail

Hi Jo,
Welcome!
Agoraphobia can't be fun (to say the least).
You tried using EFT? (www.emofree. com for free .pdf manual on how to use this technique and what its all about)

Am here seeking friends who understand what living with anxiety (agoraphobia) is about . I have battled this disorder for most of my life and have coped so far without needing medication. Would love to hear from any fellow 'sufferers'.
